Furby is about13 years old. He was found wandering in the parking lot when a fox decided he might make a nice snack! Happily We got Furby before the fox did. He is a really wonderful cat. He loves to talk, likes to be held and petted. He is curious, funny, a real doll. A catch! He loves to play with his toys and doesn't mind other cats but is frightened by dogs (can you blame him after almost b...

Gabby and her sister were left 1 cold night rainy night in front of ARF in a small carrier wrapped in a garbage bag. Her sister was adopted; Gabby is now waiting for her turn. There are many words to describe this 6-year old firecracker. She is smart, fun, sweet, and a little fiesty! Gabby keeps us all laughing in the cat room - and she is quite the sleeping beauty when she's rolled up on her b...

Julie was born here at ARF. She is a little shy at 1st but once she knows you she is a love bug. She would let you pet her all day. She isn't too happy about being held but she will tolerate it for a few minutes. I don't know why she has not been adopted all these years other than her initial shyness.

Hello from Marley! This attractive boy has a favorite pastime - watching birds out the window! He came to ARF from a TNR (Trap, Neuter & Release) Program and is very friendly and adoptable. He gets along with other cats, and he would love to make this the year he goes home to a loving family.

Birdie was thrown into our dog yard and was chased up a tree by 1 of the dogs. She needed to be rescued by a tree service and that's how she got the name Birdie. She is spayed and up to date with shots. Birdie is a little shy at 1st but warms up quickly.

Patches was brought in after being found wandering in the neighborhood of the person who rescued her. She did not belong to any of the neighbors. When she was spayed she was found to have a kidney with many nodules on it so it had to be removed. She is in great health but needs a daily medication. She seeks attention and follows you around the room.

Belle came to us through no fault of her own. She loves being petted and brushed. She would prefer to be the only cat in the household.
Eddye is a fantastic, very affectionate cat. He's a big boy at 16lbs, and tall. He desperately needs someone to love, and be loved by. A quiet home with a large, mothering dog is best suited as he can be quite pushy when he rubs against another animal, but needs that assurance from a steady, calm animal. He enjoys the safety of an outdoor enclosure where he greets passersby and where he can be ...
I was living down at the Highway Department with some other cats when the shelter people brought me inside. I really didn't like it and I wouldn't let anyone touch me. Then they found out that I was something called FIV positive so even after I got my shots and got neutered I couldn't go back to where they found me, I had to stay in side. I really wasn't happy but eventually I decided that it w...
